On Monday, 14 FEB 2022,
Josh Barrows contacted the Board of Health office regarding his permit renewal. He received the
certified ail letter that issued the fines and he stated that he was in the process of restructuring
is business and that he had not worked while the business change was in process. He has asked
fora dismissal of the fines. The Barnstable WWTP supplied their monthly list of Mashpee
properties that were serviced by Mashpee sewage haulers and J B was shown to dump two
properties, 74 Lakewood Ave and 114 Old Colony Rd in January. The permit renewal fee would
be $1, . (double fees for two trucks =$400 and 11 days of fines at$100.00 per day).
There being no further comments or discussion, Kriipani Patel motioned to impose a renewal fee
o $400 for J B Septic services. Brian Baurngaertel seconded. Roll Call Vote: Kripani Patel (yes),
Brian au gaertel (yes) VOTE: (2- )
® Buccaneer ay ter. Harrington commented a septic inspection was performed in July
of 2018. The septic inspection result was a conditional pass as risers were not installed on the
septic components. An order letter was sent to the owner, Mr. Oiancola, via first class mail but
not certified mail. Mr. Harrington spoke to Mr. Giancola in September of 2018 and grants a
30-day extension as the sale of the property had fallen through. A complaint from the tenant
brought e old violation to our attention and we realized that the 2018 order letter was not
sent via Certified Mail so no enforcement could take place. A new order letter was sent in June
of 2021. The first class mail letter would have been received on or about July 9, 2021. No work
s been performed to date.
