r <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> June 18, 2008 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board Meeting was called to order in Conference <br /> Room #1, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North, Mashpee,Massachusetts at <br /> 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 18,2008. The Chairman, Beverly Kane,presided. <br /> Planning Board Members present: Dennis Balzarini, Vice-Chairman; Beverly <br /> Kane, Chairman; James Leonard;Joseph Mullin (6:05 p.m.); and Thomas O'Hara. <br /> Also present: F. Thomas Fudala, Town Planner; and Thomas Mayo, GIS <br /> Coordinator. <br /> Cape Cod Commission Staff: Phil Dascombe; and Paul Neidwiecki. <br /> A quorum being present the Chairman called the Meeting to order and addressed <br /> the first order of business. <br /> Discussion <br /> Douglas Storrs—Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership <br /> Proposed Development Agreement <br /> The Chairman informed Mr. Storrs that the July 2, 2008 Planning Board Meeting <br /> has been cancelled; requesting that he make the appropriate changes to the agenda items. <br /> (Joseph Mullin arrived at the Planning Board Meeting at this point.) <br /> The Chairman made reference to the five proposed agenda items for this Meeting, <br /> beginning with which sections of the Mashpee Commons Neighborhoods are to be <br /> included in the Development Agreement. <br /> The Chairman then recognized Douglas Storrs who made reference to three <br /> sections of the overall Mashpee Commons Master Plan that is not currently under permit <br /> - Steeple Street, Trout Pond, and North Market Street Phase II. <br /> It Was the general consensus of the Board Members and Town Planner to include <br /> all three parcels. <br /> The Chairman suggested that every effort be made to work with the topography of <br /> these three parcels of land when plans for development are made. Mr. Storrs agreed: <br /> Under current zoning there is approximately 1-million square feet of potential <br /> commercial development. <br /> i <br />
