Finance Committee <br />Minutes <br />January 25, 2024 <br /> <br /> <br />There is a feasibility study for a new Community Center and the money for that will be coming from the <br />Recreation Revolving Fund. <br />He said that new equipment for the Firefighters was approved which includes a new jaws of life as well as a new <br />chase vehicle and a communications upgrade for the Police Department. <br />Mr. McKelvey went on to state that new Chromebooks for the school was approved and new software for the IT <br />Department. <br />The items with a higher dollar amount will be discussed at the next CIP meeting on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 of <br />which include the design of a new Police Station and a possible update or renovation of the DPW building. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br />Greg McKelvey stated that the Charter Review Committee will be meeting again on Monday, January 29, 2024 at <br />6:30.
