Collins, Darlene Furbush, Catherine Lewis, <br />Gregory McKelvey, Don Myers, Carol A. Sherman, Mary Waygan <br />Pledge of Allegiance <br />Moment of Silence <br />Public Comment <br />Members of the public asked if the preamble would be discussed at tonight's meeting. <br />John Miller said that discussion regarding the preamble was not on the agenda for tonight's <br />meeting because at the last Charter Review Committee meeting it was decided that David <br />Weeden and Cathy Lewis were going to collaborate on retooling several drafts. <br />Cathy Lewis said they have shared the drive but hasn't had a chance to collaborate with David <br />yet. <br />Paula Peters, 25 Devon Street said she feels strongly about the strongly worded history in the <br />preamble drafted by David and stands by it and hopes the Committee will stand by it as well. <br />Russell Peters, also said he was at the meeting to support the David Weeden's draft of the <br />preamble. <br />Cathy Lewis and David Weeden will continue working on the preamble and narrow down the <br />historical portion of the preamble into a document that can be discussed at the next meeting <br />Lynne Barbara Lynne Barbee acknowledged the participation of the Tribe and float in the Macy's <br />parade and said the Town has a lot to be proud of. <br />A draft of the preamble will be available for the next meeting and will be placed on the December <br />11, 2023 agenda. <br />Minutes <br />Discussion and Approval of the Following: November 6, 2023 minutes. <br />Motion made by Darlene Furbush to approve the November 6, 2023 minutes with changes, <br />motion seconded by Carol Sherman. <br />
