Assistant Agent asked for clarification, was there an existing vista pruning permit? Arlene said there was, it’s probably been about 15 years since work has been done. Agent said he recalls site visits with a previous consultant regarding a vista pruning corridor. It’s an RDA because all proposed alterations are outside the 50 ft buffer zone to wetlands. There’s quite a few invasive species, so it’s good to see an effort being made to eradicate invasive vegetation and plant native species. No other comments. Ms. Zollo how many actual units benefit? Arlene Wilson said 5 or 6. Assistant Agent said the robust planting plan is a good trade off. Agent said yes, it’s a good project. Mr. Colombo asked about how many of the cherry and oak trees will be removed? Arlene Wilson said about 20% of them, per your regulations. Agent said yes, up to 20%. Mr. Colombo asked who decides which 20%? Agent said it’s typically done onsite with a contractor. Mr. Sweet motioned for a negative determination with the condition that all concerned parties be onsite and agree upon actions to be taken.
