Protect. <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH - PUBLIC SESSION <br /> Mashpee Town Hall — Popponesset Meeting Room <br /> Minutes of the Meeting of January 6, 2023 <br /> Board Members Present: Member Absent: Also Present: <br /> Ernest Virgilio, Chair Edward Raposa, Clerk Zackary Seabury, Health Agent <br /> John Livingston,Vice-Chair <br /> Chair Ernest Virgilio called the Mashpee Board of Health meeting to order at 4:30 PM. Chair <br /> Virgilio motioned to being the public meeting. Roll Call Vote: Unanimous (2-0) <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> No Old business <br /> NEW BUSNIESS <br /> 1. Review and approval of Meeting Minutes—No Meeting Minutes for approval <br /> 2. Review and approval of Expense Warrants—Board members reviewed and signed <br /> expense warrants. Test strips,Tighe and Bond, VNA and flu clinic were all approved <br /> 3. Discussion of Landfill Gas Monitoring Report-September 2022 <br /> Chair Virgilio clarified the testing date as September 2022. He continued, and noticed <br /> that there is non-methane organic content being tested. Mr. Seabury explained that <br /> this report is from multiple test sites where the SG1-17 VAVB is tested and it was found <br /> that nothing was of note and in normal range and that methane was at 0. Mr. Livingston <br /> asked if these numbers have ever been high or has it been pretty level. Mr. Seabury <br /> commented that what he has researched the levels have been low to none all the way <br /> through. Mr. Seabury explained why methane is a gas that the department looks out <br /> for, it can be very dangerous. <br />
