■ Ashley explained that the DNR plans to submit a grant through the Office of Coastal <br /> Zone Management for the feasibility study for a sustainable South Cape Beach and <br /> repairs needed for the Seconsett Island Causeway revetment protecting the roadway t the <br /> island. She is working with CZM on the submission this year.This grant does not require <br /> a cost share from the Town.Mashpee was also identified as a municipality that has not <br /> recently submitted anything to the Office of Coastal Zone Management under this <br /> particular grant opportunity. <br /> ■ Ashley updated the committee on how far along the DNR is with the state approved <br /> Municipal Harbor Management Plan. The MVP and SNEP partners will be assisting. <br /> ■ Conservation—Plantings at Santuit Preserve April 21" : <br /> o The Assistant Conservation Agent is planning a tree planting day at the Santuit <br /> Pond Preserve. Trees were donated by the Mashpee Environmental Coalition. <br /> ■ Natural Resources (Town/Tribe) - Santuit Town Landing: Public Outreach Event: Design <br /> review, Mural planning, Plantings, Clean up, and Native Youth Ambassadors involvement <br /> April 27th. <br /> o Ashley invited the committee to attend a public outreach event scheduled for May <br /> 4"' at the Santuit Town Landing. The event will help to determine the future look <br /> and feel of the Santuit Town Landing. <br />
