Of MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING MINUTES JULY 279 2022 The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room.at the Mashpee Town hall, 16 Great deck Road North. Acting Chairman, Ron Bonvie, Scott Goldstein, Norman. J. Gould, .Associate Members Sharon angeleer, and Brad P'ittsley were present. Building Commissioner, David Morris was also present. Acting Chairman, Mr. Bonvie opened the meeting at 6:00 prn and announced that the hearings were being televised live on Mashpee Tv. He will take comments after each hearing. CONTINUED HEARING Sitting on this hearing are the three regular Board members,Ms. Sangeleer, and Mr. Pittsley. 19 Mercantile''tea ": Petitioner, Capewide Construction requests a Special Permit under §1.74- 25 (G) (4), (G) (5)3 (G) (6), §174-25 (G) (I 4), §174-25 (G) (18); and. §174-45.6 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of a 7,272 sq. ft.metal building with contractor bays to be used, for cabinet making with accessory storage, office, showroom,retail and paint booth on property located in an 1-1 and Fight Industrial overlay Zoning District(s), Map 88 Parcel 105,Mashpee, MA. (Continuedfrom July 13,2022 h eafings at the request of the Board). Attorney Christopher Kirrane represented the applicant on the proposed building. At the last meeting on July 13, 2022, there were some items addressed by the Board regarding comments submitted by the Playa Review Committee, and the Board requested, further comments from the various department heads, as well as Mr. Ed Pesce, Consulting Engineer who was retained by the Town for the Zoning Board to review the site plans, and provide the Board with his comments. .Attorney Kirrane mentioned that the Board of Health provided a letter approving the septic system that will be located underneath the parking, as well as other items that if approved can be conditioned in the Board's decision. The Board of health also listed and approved conditions regarding the paint booth that can also be incorporated into the decision if approved by this Board.There was also a letter submitted by the Fire Department that they approved the site plan, and that the paint booth has to comply with.the Mass Fire Code. These conditions can also be incorporated into the Board's decision of approved. llllr. Pesce communicated with the applicant that his comments can be conditioned into the decision if approved by the Board. I
