Chair Thomas went on to say that he would have appreciated this topic being brought up back in
September or October.

A motion was made by Chair Thomas to not approve any license fee increases at this time.
Motion seconded by Daryl Christensen.

Co-Chair Cook said that he thinks the senior fee should stay the same. He asked how many commercial
permits were sold and the response was 13. He pointed out that Mashpee is a much smaller town than the
surrounding towns that are charging higher fees for commercial licenses.
He stated that the current fees are in line with the exception of the non-resident fee which he believes
should be increased.

Mr. Christensen asked if the sale of licenses is going up or down and Chris responded that they are
staying just about the same.

Chair Thomas stated that the Commission respresents the Citizens of Mashpee and in fairness to everyone
involved he thinks that they should be educated further.

VOTE: Passed 4-0-1

Roll Call Vote:

Mr. Christensen, aye
Mr. Holmes, aye
Co-Chair Cook, aye
Chair Thomas aye
Chris Avis, abstain

ADDITIONAL TOPICS: None at this Time.

ADJOURNMENT

A motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Christensen.
Motion seconded by Mr. Holmes.
Motion was passed by unanimous consent.

Meeting adjourned at 6:20pm.

Respectfully Submitted,

Susan Donovan
Board Secretary
2
