Ms. Thornbrugh received strong <br /> rankings from the Conservation Commission. Ms. Thornbrugh has significant and direct experience in the <br /> disciplines of wetlands ecology and natural resources management. Ms. Thornbrugh has also worked with the <br /> Environmental Justice movement, and holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and advanced <br /> degrees in Sustainable Natural Resource Management and Informal Science Education. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to appoint Sarah Thornbrugh as a full-time Conservation <br /> Commissioner, Member at Large status with a term to expire; June 30,2024. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman-Colombo. <br /> VOTE: 4-0. Ms. Williams noted that she is a candidate for the Select Board, and is concerned with <br /> past actions of an elected official. In the future, it is hopeful that Mashpee will become more unified, <br /> transparent and a stronger community. <br />
