Minutes of Meeting <br /> Plan Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, June 6, 2023 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> There were several abutters at the meeting that spoke to the Committee. A summary of the <br /> resident's concerns and discussions are below; <br /> There were two (2) abutter Letters that oppose the 30 space parking request. <br /> Concerns: traffic congestion and safety to neighboring homes. <br /> Preference: Exit and enter onto existing driveway from Frog Pond Close rather <br /> than onto Mashpee Neck Road. Remove the restriction sign "No right turn". Add <br /> some native plants and trees along the length of the property at 352 Mashpee <br /> Neck Rd to create a buffer for the neighboring residents and shield the look of <br /> a parking lot. <br /> There were six (6) letters that in-favor of the 30 space parking request. <br /> Favorable comments: Well-maintained Marina. <br /> Will alleviate congestion on Mashpee Neck Rd. <br /> Will alleviate "shuttling" guests to the Marina. <br /> There were no more comments from the Committee. Mr. Lehrer moved to recommend the <br /> following conditions; <br /> • Town Planner Recommendations submitted via email dated June 5, 2023 to <br /> ZBA Secretary. <br /> • The office is an allowed use as an accessory to Mashpee Neck Marina. <br /> • Condition that the gate access and stockade fence be widened in accordance <br /> to the Fire Department recommendations. <br /> • Conservation Department recommendations that the. <br /> • Board of Health recommending septic system upgrade to an I/A System to <br /> accommodate the office space and residential dwelling only for office use and <br /> employee.
