there was a breakdown in communication regarding the discussion of the proposed reduction at the last meeting. However, the Select Board removed the reduction proposal from the Warrant. There were no updates on Board Member Training and Procurement. 6. New Business: Ms. Conn presented the proposed 5-Year Mattapoisett Housing Authority Management Services Agreement,commencing on October 1,2023,and ending on September 30, 2028. The Mattapoisett Housing Authority board met on Tuesday, September 12,2023, and voted unanimously to approve the 5-Year Management Services Agreement. After a brief discussion, Mr. Klein moved to approve and execute the Management Services Agreement between the Mattapoisett Housing Authority and Mashpee Housing Authority for the 5-Year period; seconded by Ms. Meizinger. Motion Carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. Ms. Conn then presented the Brewster Housing Authority Management Services Agreement. This contract is slightly different as Mashpee Housing Authority hosts the Administrative Office Assistant position and this is charged back to Brewster through the Management Agreement. It is recommended that we keep the contract the same until the existing employee retires, in which case the Brewster Housing Authority will hire its own Administrative Assistant. The board agreed to move forward with the contract as proposed, and an amendment would be made to the contract if the existing Administrative Assistant retires during the 5-Year to Mr. Klein moved to approve the 5- Year Management Services Agreement between the Brewster Housing Authority and the Mashpee Housing Authority, and authorized Ms. Conn to negotiate with EOHLC for approval and revise the agreement as necessary; seconded by Ms.Meizinger. Motion Carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. Ms. Conn announced that Spectrum Compliance visited Asher's Path today, September 14, 2023, for its bi-annual compliance monitoring site visit and file review. The Compliance audit was paused during COVID, so the last monitoring site visit was in 2020. Files for monitoring were sent via a secure platform and the results of the file audit are not expected back until November. The on-site inspection seemed to go well, and the results will be in the final report. Massachusetts Nahro Annual Conference is being held at the Seacrest in North Falmouth, September 17, 2023, through September 20, 2023; both Jennifer & Kimberly will be attending.
