5. Old Business: Mr. Klein reported that the last CPC is interviewing two candidates for two <br /> member-at-large seats on the board. The committee is reviewing a 17-acre parcel for open space <br /> located in Pickerel Cove,they are under discussions with the families and are seeking an appraisal <br /> of the property. Ms. Conn reviewed the announcement of the Executive Office of Housing & <br /> Livable Communities (EOHLC) training portal that is now live. All board members should have <br /> received an invitation to log in and view the portal. Ms. Conn has responded to the Spectrum <br /> Compliance Monitoring Preliminary Owners Report and is waiting forte final close out letter. <br /> The board then reviewed Attachment B of the Brewster Housing Authority Management <br /> Agreement previously voted and Ms. Conn notified the board that a revised vote is required to <br /> specify the amount of the management contract that is allocated to the Executive Director's salary, <br /> along with the total annual salary. Mr. Shackett moved to approve the revised Management <br /> Agreement with the Brewster Housing Authority, having reviewed the published PMRs and <br /> AUPs, for an annual sum of $81,797 of which $22,027 will be allocated to the Executive <br /> Director's salary and included in the budget approved total, seconded by Ms. Meizinger. <br /> Motion carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. The board then reviewed Attachment B of the Mattapoisett <br /> Housing Authority Management Agreement. Ms. Meizinger moved to approve the revised <br /> Management Agreement with the Mattapoisett Housing Authority, having reviewed the <br /> published PMRs and AUPs, for an annual sum of$53,591 of which $21,436 will be allocated <br /> to the Executive Director's salary and included in the budget approved total, seconded by <br /> Mr. Klein. Motion carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. Ms. Conn reported that the move to the new office <br /> located at 766 Falmouth Road A3, Mashpee, MA 02649 took place on December 11, 2023, and <br /> the staff has been working hard to get the office organized and functional. The move has set the <br /> office back slightly on meeting deadlines but went smoothly overall. The rent is $200.00 per <br /> month less than the previous contract and will be locked in for three years, with an increase to the <br /> current amount for years four and five. <br /> 6. New Business: Ms. Conn reviewed the Capital Plan revision adding project 172069 — Homeyer <br /> Village Unit 14 Vacancy Turnover. Mr.Klein moved to accept the vacant unit turnover award <br /> and utiUe in-house staff to turn the it along with specialty vendors if needed,seconded by <br /> Mr.Shackett. Motion carried. 4-Ayes,0-Nays. Ms. Conn reviewed the overages in staff vacation <br /> balances and recommended the board vote to allow a vacation buy-back of up to 0- ours. After <br /> a brief discussion,Ms.Meizinger moved to approve the vacation buy-back up to 80-hours per <br /> full-time employee, to be requested in writing by the employee, and paid in the next payroll, <br /> seconded by Mr. Klein. Motion carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. The board discussed moving the <br /> meeting location due to the limited accessible space of the new office. Mr. Klein recommended <br /> utilizing space at To all, but the board was unsure if there would be a cost to do so, he will <br /> inquire about the cost and availability. After a lengthy discussion of available locations and <br /> parking, Ms. Meizinger moved to approve the new meeting location to be at the Asher's Path <br /> Community Room located at 1 Carleton Drive, Mashpee, MA 02649, seconded by Mr. <br /> Shackett. Motion carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. The website design set up was delayed due to the <br /> office move, holidays, month-end close outs and audits, the process will begin in January. <br /> 7. Other Business: Ms.Allen asked Vincent Gault,Maintenance Director,fora maintenance update. <br /> He reported that they were busy with turnovers, and catching up on work orders, along with <br /> scattered heat issues. <br />
