Meeting Called to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:30 PM by Jill Allen, Chair. A
quorum was declared with the following members present Jill Allen, Kevin Shackett, and Richard
Klein.
® New Business—Asher's Path Sewer Connection Discussion—Vote: The chair announced that
the board was taking up new business first on the agenda to accommodate the presenters. She
requested Ms. Conn to give a brief introduction. Ms. Conn announced that Michael Scipione of
Weston & Sampson could not be present, due to a prior conflict, but that John Meader, To of
Mashpee Water Superintendent, would be presenting instead. She then summarized the history of
the sewer connection project, and the prior discussions with the Town Sewer Commissioner. The
original discussions included just the connection itself, but the revised plan will include
decommissioning the old system. Mr. Meader reviewed the proposed site plan, discussed the
connection points, and the Board of Health Regulations to abandon the existing system. The final
negotiated cost will be approximately$36,000 including a small contingency. The board discussed
the project further and asked how the project would be funded. Ms. Conn reported that the funding
will be disbursed from the property's reserve account held by MassHousing Finance Agency; and
would be added to the FY2025 Budget. Ms. Allen moved to approve the estimated contract
cook ip
