Format: <br />o The committee agrees unanimously, the format is good as it current stands. <br />o Background/History <br />o Issues/Concerns <br />o Recommendation/Action Plan <br />o Vision statement: <br />o Discussions centered on consistency, debating whether to have one overarching <br />statement or individual statements for each segment. <br />o Emphasized the importance of adding public value. <br />o Agreed to revisit the topic at a later date. <br /> Review Process <br />o Ms. Novelly: Increasing the frequency of meetings to ensure that all members contribute <br />their perspectives on each topic. <br />o Requesting each member to submit a list of comments relevant to each topic, along with <br />page numbers for easy reference. <br />o All comments should be submitted prior to the April meeting. <br />o Ms. Novelly and Ms. Ulterwyk will finalize and submit a document containing <br />all comments, along with their respective topics, to the committee. <br />o The funding report must be submitted before the end of the current fiscal year. <br />o Prioritize recommendations and coordinate with DNR staff to review the "URI" draft, <br />followed by discussions. <br />o Commence a public survey before finalizing the implementation schedule. <br />o Each meeting will address 2-3 sections of the draft, presenting all comments and <br />concerns at that time. <br />o The initial focus will be on Climate Change and Water Quality as the first two topics. <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />____________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br /> Native Land Conservancy Earth Day Even: <br />o Ms. Fisher has included a Tribe lunch and learn event. <br />o Plan an engagement session with Tribal members after releasing the draft to address and <br />discuss any comments or concerns. <br />o The public document will be accessible at a later time. <br /> <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />7:00 pm Mr. Leher, motions to adjourn the meeting, which was seconded by Mr. Avis. <br /> <br />Motion passes unanimously. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> Alyssa Pinto <br />Harbor Management Committee <br />Board Secretary <br />
