Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, March 19, 2024 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Ms. Faulkner made a motion to recommend the signage application as submitted. <br /> Mr. Furbush second. All were in favor of the signage application. <br /> 8:40 am Project Address: 474 Main Street and 31 Ashumet Road <br /> Owner/Agent: Joao Junqueira c/o Atty. Christopher Kirrane <br /> Arch itect/Engineering_ Bracken Engineering, Inc. <br /> Request: Applicant proposes a 4,752 sq. ft. retail building for water service <br /> related products with indoor and outdoor storage. (Note: Requires a Special <br /> Permit with the Planning Board). <br /> Attorney Christopher Kirrane represented the applicant for the proposed retail building <br /> located in the C-3 and R-3 Zoning Districts. The proposal requires Planning Board review, <br /> and the Historical Committee review. The building will be wooden construction and <br /> shingled. The building will consist of a gray earth tone color, and natural color siding. <br /> Attorney Kirrane noted that the heavy green area on the landscape plan will remain <br /> naturally vegetative. The building itself will be situated 80 ft. from Main Street. The area <br /> on the plan that is orange color will be revegetated, and there will be catch basins. <br /> Mr. Furbush asked if there will be signage. Attorney Kirrane said not as of now. <br /> Ms. Faulkner asked what the color siding will be. Attorney Kirrane said white cedar <br /> shingles will be on all four sides of the building, with gray color clapboard. <br /> The Committee had a discussion regarding the front entrance location of the building. <br /> Attorney Kirrane said that the entrance will be on Ashumet Road. The overhead door will <br /> be in the rear of the building. The building size totals approximately 6,000 sq. ft. The <br /> warehouse is 4,750 sq. ft., and the show room is slightly over 1,200 sq. ft. <br /> Mr. Morris stated that the Historic Committee probably has more authority on this <br /> application, and asked for a motion. <br /> Mr. Furbush made a motion to accept the application as presented. Ms. Faulkner, <br /> seconded. All were in favor. <br /> There was no other business topics, and no meeting minutes to approve. <br /> Mr. Furbush made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ms. Faulkner, second. All were in <br /> favor.
