Finish work is taking
place in the office area.
Sandy reported that not much work is happening on the exterior of the preliminary treatment
building aside from stairs being installed.
Air piping has been installed in the process tanks. Sandy stated that the tanks have been
backfilled completely.
Two of the sand beds are complete. Sea Oaks is on
hold for now. Temporary pavement has been put down. They will be doing the gravity sewer
inverts. Sewer inverts are bricking up the bottom of the manholes to create a flow channel.
They will be cleaning up the sewers during April and May by running water through them to be
sure they are free of debris, etc.
Sandy said that they have done a lot of work on the interiors of the Falmouth Road Mashpee
Neck Road pump stations. According to last month’s report they are well ahead of planned spending.
th
It was reported that bids were opened and received on April 9 on the alternate rebid of Phase
1A.
