Currently, indoor recreation facilities are authorized in only the Commercial Zoning <br />Districts. This article requires a 2/3rd vote. <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 28 by a vote of 4-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 28 by a vote of 7-0 <br />The Planning Board recommends approval of Article 28 by a vote of 5-0 <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Weeden <br />Motion: I move that the Town vote to approve Article 28 as printed in the Warrant. <br />Motion passes unanimously at 8:55PM <br />Article 29 <br />To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $150,000 from the Waterways <br />Improvement Fund to the Engineering/Permitting/Dredging and Associated Expenses Account, or take any <br />other action related thereto. <br />Submitted by the Department of Natural Resources <br />Explanation: This Article provides funds to the Department of Natural Resources for projects such as the <br />annual dredging of the Popponesset Approach Channel scheduled for next December/January (2024-2025 <br />) and other dredging projects currently in the permitting and design phase to include the Great River/Little <br />River dredge project and any other dredge projects throughout Town. All dredging, permitting, and <br />associated projects will be managed by the Harbormaster and the Department of Natural Resources. <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 29 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 29 by a vote of 6-0 <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Wyman -Colombo <br />
