Acting <br /> Chair, Sharon Sangeleer, Board Members, Jonathan Furbush, William Blaisdell, Scott Goldstein, <br /> Associate Members, Charles Reidy, and Robert Caggiano were present. Chairman Ronald Bonvie <br /> was on the conference room phone. Building Commissioner, David Morris was also present. <br /> Acting Chair, Ms. Sangeleer opened the meeting at 6:03 pm and announced that the hearings were <br /> being televised live on Mashpee TV, and that Mr. Bonvie will be participating and is able to vote. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer asked the audience if there were any comments that were not related to any of the <br /> agenda items. There were none. <br /> NEW HEARINGS <br /> Sitting on this hearing are the four regular Board Members and Associate Member, Robert <br /> Caggiano. <br /> 5 Clamshell Lane: Owner,Jeanne Scioli requests a Modification of an issued Special Permit(SP- <br /> 2021-50) under §174-17.1 of the Zoning Bylaws to raze and replace a pre-existing, non- <br /> conforming single family structure on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 119,Parcel <br /> 66, Mashpee, MA. The Special Permit was issued and approved on September 22, 2021. <br /> Mr. Blaise Scioli presented the Modification request for an extension of the issued Special Permit. <br /> He provided a letter to the Board dated March 18, 2024 explaining the reason involving hardship <br /> circumstances that caused a delay in commencing construction of the approved project. <br /> Mr. Caggiano read a letter submitted by Owner, Jeanne Scioli dated March 18, 2024 into the <br /> record. <br /> Mr. Scioli mentioned that the Conservation Commission extended their permit for three years, <br /> valid up to July 13, 2027. Mr. Scioli asked if the permit is valid from the date of issue or today's <br /> date. <br /> Mr. Morris stated that it would be the date it lapses because it is still valid. He said that it is up to <br /> the discretion of the Board and is not aware of any time frame for a date certain, but the Board <br /> should be consistent with giving extensions. <br /> 1 <br />
