4 Select Board Minutes June 3, 2024 APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS Pep, ent of Public Works Director Catherine Laurent w (continued) Award of Contract 4 w��reratiq and Maintenance of the MgApee Middle-ffigl j,School Wastewater Treatment Facili Two proposals were received in response to an RFP issued for the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facility at the Mashpee Middle/High School. It was recommended that a contract be awarded to Weston & Sampson Services, Inc.,the current operator. The Town has the option to extend the contract for an additional two years. Motion made by Selectman Cotton to award a contract to Weston & Sampson Services,Inc. for the operation and maintenance of the Mashpee Middle/High School Wastewater Treatment Facility. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE 4-0. Unanimous. Roll Call Vote: Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Opposed, none Discussion and Apprgyqt_pf M3 Ventures Inc..d/b/a Trifle M„Amended and Restated Host Community Agreement:Jonathan Herlihy: The Select Board met with Jonathan Herlihy;M3 Ventures, Inc. d/b/a Triple M to review the amended and restated Host Community Agreement. Town Counsel Patrick J. Costello has reviewed the Agreement to form for execution. It was noted the term is discretionary and negotiable by the respective parties. Motion made by Selectman Weeden to accept and approve the amended and restated Host Community Agreement with M3 Ventures, Inc. d/b/a Triple M for the operation of a licensed Marijuana Treatment Center and an Adult Use Retailer; 29 Echo Road, Mashpee for the term of 10-years. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE 4-0. Unanimous. Roll Call Vote: Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Opposed, none
