Crosby Family Trust <br /> requests a Written Finding under §174-17 and §174-33 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for a deck <br /> extension, and alteration to a pre-existing, nonconforming dwelling on property located in an R-3 <br /> Zoning District and the Popponesset Overlay District, Map 118, Parcel 66, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Mr. Crosby represented himself seeking a Written Finding to expand his deck. He stated that the <br /> house is pre-existing,nonconforming.The existing stairs are beginning to deteriorate and is unsafe. <br /> He is not expanding the deck any closer to his neighbor's properties. <br /> Mr. Ganzenmuller read the Board of Health comments dated July 8, 2024 into the record;Deck is <br /> over septic tank. Do not put footings on tank or piping. Stairs are on corner of leaching field, no <br /> footing can be placed inside the stone of the leaching field. " <br /> Mr. Ganzenmuller read the Conservation Department comments dated July 8,2024 into the record; <br /> "Resource Areas: LSCSF Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA)permit applied with <br /> commission approved unanimously due to reduction in hardscape, reduction in lawn, and removal <br /> of portion of retaining wall.
