The Agent proposes holding a public meeting to
address these concerns and to prepare a petition to the Federal Government for notification. The
Agent will gather more information. Other considerations include establishing a protocol for
dealing with debris that washes up on the shoreline. The Agent will discuss this with the
Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
HEALTH AGENT DISCUSSION
The Agent has stated that the Mashpee Clean Water Plan Phase 1 is expecting hookup to begin
within the next 6 months. Additionally, applicants located within the phase will be requesting
variances in the meantime. The Agent is asking the Board for clarification on whether approving
the variances in-house by the Agent is acceptable. However, the properties located within Phase
2 will still require Board approval. The Board has approved the suggestion for in-house
approvals for properties located within Phase 1 only.
ADJOURNMENT
:50 Motion made by Mr. Livingston to adjourn the meeting.
