14 <br /> Select Board <br /> Minutes <br /> May 20,2024 <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Assembly, Delegates. It is anticipated that$3 million in ARPA funds would be placed in a Water Quality <br /> Stabilization Account. Use of said funds may be determined by need and/or to provide for additional loans <br /> )Kamp poag Tribe; The workshop session on forever chemicals;PFAS was a well-attended and informative <br /> session. A video is available however, it is worthwhile to have the Town sponsor a presentation. <br /> Chamber of Commerce: The Cape Cod Chamber will oversee the vocational education and training programs <br /> under the Cape Cod &Islands Workforce Board. <br /> Intermunicipal Areement: Participating towns in the IMA are planning on conducting a review of Pimlico Pond. <br /> Harborw,Mana g ent: The Harbor Management Committee is steadfast;results will be made available soon. <br /> Charter Review: The Charter Review Committee has been working diligently, and it is expected that articles <br /> would be submitted for the May 2025 Town Meeting. Review has been detailed, and it is necessary to gain further <br /> public input and review. John Miller was acknowledged for his work as Chair on this committee. <br /> JBCC: Affordable housing on 200 acres has been the focus of discussions. With the change of leadership, it is <br /> expected that a master plan would be developed. Other parcels may be subdivided in the Bourne area. <br /> WATER QUALITY UPDATES <br /> DEP: Department of Environmental Protection deadlines include; July 26, 2024 for the submission of Project <br /> Evaluation Forms (PEF). Of importance is the submittal of PEF's. This action places a town in cue for the ability <br /> to apply for SRF loans. There is no obligation to apply for a loan however, if a PEF is not submitted a town may <br /> be in a dead-stop for additional work,thus eliminating potential funding for the following year. This action causes <br /> no risk to a town. <br /> Cale &Islands Water Protection Fund; Subsidy of 25%remains. <br /> In anticipation for the upcoming 5-year plan,projections are requested by each member town. <br />
