Marino and Bk.: 30973 <br /> Kathie A.Marino Pg.: 318 <br /> 14 Ashumet Avenue <br /> Map 49, Parcel 104 <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on November 13, 2023 by Owner, Joseph T. Marino requesting a Written <br /> Finding under§174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of a dormer over an existing <br /> garage, and a deck addition to a pre-existing non-conforming structure on property located in an <br /> R-5 Zoning District, at 14 Ashumet Avenue, Map 49, Parcel 104, Mashpee,MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. <br /> Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in <br /> the Town of Mashpee,on December 15, 2023 and December 22,2023 a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> A Public Hearing were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday,January 10, <br /> 2024, and continued to February 14, 2024 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout; Chairman, Ronald Bonvie, Board Members, Sharon <br /> Sangeleer, William A. Blaisdell, Jonathan Furbush, and Scott Goldstein. <br /> On February 14, 2024, the continued hearing was opened. Mr. Glen Fazzino requested a <br /> continuance to amend the building plans as recommended by the Building Commissioner and the <br /> Board of Health Agent. The original building plans did not comply with the bedroom count as <br /> noted by the Health Agent. Mr. Marino,the homeowner,was present and provided the Board with <br /> the revised plans that consists of a family room, and a bedroom over the garage. The plans now <br /> comply with the bedroom count for the septic system.Mr.Marino also mentioned that the Building <br /> Commissioner wanted the plans to show the main egress to be unobstructed. He stated that the <br /> garage will have downspouts on the garage to contain any water runoff, and there is plenty of <br /> parking with the large driveway. <br /> Chairman Bonvie asked for Board member comments. <br /> 1 <br />
