Town of Mashpee <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT MODIFICATION (SP-2021-50) <br /> SP-2024-17 <br /> Owner, Jeanne Scioli Bk.: 32957 <br /> 5 Clamshell Lane Pg.: 101 <br /> (Map 119 Parcel 66 <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on March 25, 2024 by Owner, Jeanne Scioli requesting a Modification of an <br /> issued Special Permit (SP-2021-50) under §174-17.1 of the Zoning Bylaws to raze and replace a <br /> pre-existing,non-conforming single family structure on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, <br /> at 5 Clamshell Lane, Map 119, Parcel 66, Mashpee, MA. The Special Permit was issued and <br /> approved on September 22, 2021. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. <br /> Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise,a newspaper of general circulation in <br /> the Town of Mashpee, on March 29, 2024 and April 5, 2024 a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, April 24, <br /> 2024 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout; Acting Chair, Sharon Sangeleer, Board Members, Jonathan Furbush, William <br /> Blaisdell, Scott Goldstein, and Associate Member, Robert Caggiano. <br /> Mr. Blaise Scioli presented the Modification request for an extension of the issued Special Permit. <br /> He provided a letter to the Board dated March 18, 2024 explaining the reason involving hardship <br /> circumstances that caused a delay in commencing construction of the approved project. <br /> Mr. Caggiano read a letter submitted by Owner, Jeanne Scioli dated March 18, 2024 into the <br /> record. <br /> Mr. Scioli mentioned that the Conservation Commission extended their permit for three years, and <br /> is valid up to July 13, 2027. <br /> The Zoning Board Special Permit is valid for three(3)years from the date granted(September 22, <br /> 2021,unless otherwise noted differently in the original Decision.) <br /> 1 <br />
