Chairman, <br /> Ronald Bonvie, Board Members, Sharon Sangeleer, William Blaisdell, Jonathan Furbush, and <br /> Associate Members, Charles Reidy, Robert Caggiano, and Michael Milbury. Also present was <br /> Building Commissioner, David Morris. <br /> Chairman Bonvie opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were being <br /> televised live on Mashpee TV. He will take comments after each hearing. <br /> CONTINUED HEARINGS <br /> 71 Hooppole Road: Petitioner, Strong Tree Engineering LLC requests a Special Permit under <br /> §174-17.1 and§174-33 of the Zoning Bylaws to raze a pre-existing,nonconforming structure, and <br /> replace it with a new single-family structure and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) on property <br /> located in an R-5 Zoning District, Map 57, Parcel 45, Mashpee, MA. (Owners of Record: Steven <br /> K. Cayer and Allison E. Cayer). (Continued from August 14, 2024 hearings). <br /> Sitting on this hearing were the four regular Board members and Mr. Reidy. <br /> Mr. Steven Cayer represented himself for the raze and replace project.Mr.Cayer received approval <br /> from the Conservation Commission. The project includes a new four bedroom home that will <br /> comply with all setbacks and height restrictions, and a new septic system. The site also includes a <br /> 900 sq. ft. Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) that will comply with all zoning requirements, and <br /> will be connected to the septic system. He provided the necessary site and building plans. <br /> Mr. Reidy read the Conservation Department comments dated August 27, 2024 into the record; <br /> "Resource Areas: Buffer zone to Inland Bank & buffer zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetland <br /> (BVW). Notice of Intent (NOI) application was approved unanimously due to benefits the project <br /> will have to resource areas and buffer zones onsite. With NOI approval a condition to reduce lawn <br /> between the pond and the cottage, in the buffer zones, and plant with native vegetation. " <br /> Mr. Reidy read the Board of Health comments dated August 27, 2024 into the record; "6 bedroom <br /> property, 4 bedrooms in Main House and 2 bedrooms in ADU at top of property. Original house <br /> to be disconnected from septic. <br /> Mr. Furbush asked if the existing boathouse was being demolished. Mr. Cayer said it is remaining. <br /> 1 <br />
