Marie Stevenson, Dan Kupferman, Rolf Brandt, Richard Klein, Winnie Johnson- <br /> Graham, Mohamad Fand, Ayesha Shafi, Hope Hanscom, Gail Wilson, Kim Landry, Mike <br /> Moulis, Aimen Igbal <br /> Also Present: Mary Waygan, Richard Donovan, Theresa Donovan, Lynne Barbee, Lauren <br /> Surbey— The Enterprise <br /> Absent: Rowela Kent <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Stevenson called the meeting of the Mashpee Inclusion and Diversity Committee to <br /> order at 5:04P.M. <br /> LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT <br /> Today we acknowledge this meeting is being held on ancestral lands of the Wampanoag Tribe, <br /> also known as People of the First Light. We pay respects to their elders past and present. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Patty DeBoer wrote the Committee and thanked them for the plaque. She loved the poem and <br /> greatly valued her time as a member of MIDC. She wished them well in their efforts to continue <br /> making Mashpee better. <br /> Katie Hennessy also expressed her gratitude for being a part of the Committee and she <br /> recognized that Officer Moulis will be a great addition. Mike Moulis is the new representative <br /> from the Mashpee Police Department. He is undergoing training in Civil Rights. Ms. Stevenson <br /> speaks for the entire Committee in wishing Officer Hennessy continued success as the School <br /> Resource Officer. <br /> MEMBER UPDATES <br /> Report from Chairperson Stevenson <br /> She has two quotes she would like to open with: <br /> - "What we have here is a failure to communicate." <br /> - "Dangerous wind, opportunity blowing." <br /> 1 <br />
