The existing building has been on this lot
since 1920's. The homeowners would like to raze this house and replace it with a new code
compliant home. Both lots were combined and are owned by the same owners. The site plan depicts
the existing house, and the proposed new home situated in the middle of the combined lots and
will meet all the setback requirements. Attorney Lawler met with Mr. Morris, Building
Commissioner and recommended that the project to be presented to the Board because it's pre-
existing non-conforming, and requires zoning approval under the bylaw. The new home will be a
significant improvement to the neighborhood, and the owners received favorable comments from
the neighbors.
Mr. Morris is in favor of this project, but wanted the Board to know that the two lots were being
combined.
Ms. Sangeleer read an abutter letter that is in favor of the project.
1.4
