Motion seconded by Ms.Castenada. Motion passed by unanimous consent.
Public Comment
Public comment was presented by Alex Gaboda, CEO and co-founder of 3PO Networks. He's had
multiple conversations with people regarding a solution his company provides for homeowners and dark
fiber they provide to homes. Their primary market is workforce housing that's been stalled by not
having a sewer solution. It also works for people who have septic systems.
Public comment was presented by Bill Sneider, Northeast Regional Manager with Orenco Systems. They
are an Oregon based company that's been in business for 40 years. Their opportunity would be to bring
both collection and wastewater treatment solutions. Their wastewater treatment solution would be
50%of the cost compared to the gravity sewer. It could be used in both new and existing communities.
They also offer wastewater treatment systems that would also address the nitrogen limits everyone is
working towards. They can provide the system at a lower front end cost. It's a sustainable system and is
easy to maintain. The goal today is to bring awareness that they're here and if there are any
opportunities that he and Mr. Gaboda could assist the Sewer Commission and the Town of Mashpee,
they would be interested in further discussions.
Public comment was presented by Mike Millbury who came to introduce himself as the liason for the
Finance Committee and Sewer Commission. He wants to understand what the Sewer Commission does
and how he can assist with the Finance Committee. Chair Harris welcomed Mr. Millbury as a new
member of the Finance Committee.
New Business
1.
