MINUTES November 9, 1989 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Greelish stated increased testing will be required until such time <br /> as public water is made available and commented a provision should be <br /> included which would mandate hook-up. Mr. Greelish requested Mr. McQuaid <br /> and Mr. Evans to research policies , with some level of agreement and en- <br /> forcement, that may be instituted as public water is provided to the sites : <br /> APPOINTMENT: Arrow Engineering - Revised plans, variance request, 36 James <br /> Circle <br /> Mr. Robert Raymond was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Raymond stated variances requested are from the owners well to septic, <br /> as well as , abutting septic to owners well . Abutting lot owner, involved in <br /> the variance request, has submitted written approval for this proposal . <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed the Board the lot has been re-perked at the leaching <br /> site. <br /> Mr. Evans recommended an agent inspect -the new pit at time of excavation. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant the requested variances with the stipula- <br /> tion agents inspect the pit at time of excavation and pits are re-perked when <br /> installed, Mr. Greelish seconded. <br /> 7. ) Copy of complaint from R. Halpern to M. Glickman re: illegal use of <br /> dumpster - The Board acknowledged receiving a copy of the complaint. <br /> 8. ) Plastics recycling forum, Saturday, November 18, 1989 at 10:00 a.m. in <br /> Brewster - The Board acknowledged receiving the notice <br /> 9. ) Town of Mashpee Christmas Party announcement - the Board acknowledged <br /> receiving the announcement. <br /> 10. ) Workshop announcement, "Local implication of Sea Level Rise" , December <br /> 1 , 1989 at Woods Hole, 9:00 a.m. - Mr. McQuaid requested attending <br /> this workshop. <br /> Board members forwarded their approval for Mr. McQuaid to attend. <br /> 11 . ) Definitive subdivision plan for review and comment, "Canterbury Estates" , <br /> Cape & Islands - Mr. McQuaid stated requirements have been met. <br /> Mr. McQuaid expressed his concern with applicants not submitting plans <br /> to this Board prior to Planning Board submittal . <br /> Mr. Ferragamo was in agreeance and requested Mr. McQuaid to forward a <br /> memo to the Planning Board explaining the procedure he would like the <br /> Planning Board to adopt as a policy. <br /> Board members were in agreeance. Mr. Doherty motioned to approve defi- <br /> nitive plans entitled "Canterbury Estates" as submitted, Mr. Greelish <br /> seconded. <br /> 12. ) Revised plans, Low & Weller for J. Elliott, Lot 2 Great Neck Road - <br /> Mr. Elliott was in at for this discussion. <br />
