Mrs. Andrade said that the existing slider will be replaced with a French door; the slider will be moved to one wall; addition of windows and another door will complete the project. The Board reviewed the detailed building, floor plans, and site plans. Mr. Andrade said that the pitch of the roof has been engineered in order to prevent any leaking. Construction will consist of 2x6-foot rafters and 2x6-foot headers. No comments were received from abutters. Mr. Blaisdell made a motion to grant the Written Finding. The proposal shall not be substantially more detrimental than the existing non-conforming structure because: The proposal will be an enhancement to the property and to the neighborhood; it will conform to current building code requirements; it is comparable in size and character to other dwellings in the neighborhood. There is adequate land area to provide sufficient parking and setbacks as may be required.
