He made recommendations on ways to keep the book from becoming
obsolete by choosing a design where applications and forms can easily be removed
and replaced when updated.
The Committee has received information from most of the departments after their
final accuracy checks (and signs offs) and are waiting for The Planning Department,
The Police Chief and the Building Inspector to return their sections. Tom will ask
these three departments to submit their final copy before next Monday's meeting.
Tom has'one price estimate from Cape Cod Printing Company and will.be getting
two more estimates from local printers. Sid had obtained a color photo from Willowbend and the Committee
decided not to use it. The photo will be returned to Cathy Chauvin, of the
Willowbend.
The Committee discussed possible slogans and logos for the guide book cover and
will discuss this further at Monday's meeting on-May 16. Some of the possible titles .
were: "Mashpee Guide for Business," "Mashpee--A Way of Life," "Let Us Take You
Around Mashpee," and "Your Business is Mashpee's Business."
Sid made some revisions to the map that will be placed on the back cover of the
2
I
L
