BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT <br /> The Committee decided that in lieu of "Welcome to Mashpee" signs at the town <br /> lines, they are recommending that there be gardens at the four entrances to <br /> Mashpee. Several ideas were discussed, including landscaping, a two-tier stone wall <br /> with a "Welcome" plaque, colorful flowers, hedges, and pear trees with white <br /> blossoms_ Safety, upkeep, and uniformity were discussed. The Committee will <br /> present their plan to the Selectmen when it is finalized. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m. The Committee will meet again on Monday <br /> May 16, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> I <br /> i <br /> 4 <br />
