Tom told him there were not going to be <br /> subcommittees, rather these assignments would be on a voluntary basis in order to <br /> have someone oversee the completion of unfinished business. Sid felt that the new <br /> committee members should not have been involved with this committee meeting <br /> because they were not "full-fledged" members until the new fiscal year has begun. <br /> Jamie agreed that the transition would be smoother if the new members were <br /> included in this final meeting of the current committee. <br /> Nelson agreed that it was a good idea to have new and old committee members <br /> present at this meeting in order to facilitate a smooth transition. <br /> Tom asked for volunteers to work on the guide book. Ted Lewis said he would <br /> follow through with guide book production and asked Sid to assist him. Sid will <br /> work with Ted Lewis on guide book. <br /> The Mashpee DPW has volunteered to do the planting of the gardens and Bob <br /> Whritenour is working with landscapers, and the accountant, to encumber monies <br /> by the end of this month so that the gardens can be started in September, using this <br /> fiscal budget for this purpose.
