Sid suggested getting the "Guide" book to these interested parties and supplying Bill Hauck with a stack. Bill Hauck will continue to pass on any inquiries he receives. Sid stated that it would not be feasible to respond to Tom Fudala ' s request for input re: the L.C.P. by December 21st. Sid suggested that Tom be invited to the next EDC meeting on January 10, 1995 .to discuss it. EDC has to convey their vision and goals, and after discussing it with Tom at the meeting, EDC can give an answer. A Memo will be faxed to Tom Fudala requesting him to attend the next EDC meeting. Paul asked that the Memo from the Town Planner be referenced on the January 10 , 1995 Agenda. i With regard to the continued discussion of Committee short and long term goals and tasks , Steve offered to work on a project and suggested picking 1 or 2 things to be completed by January. Paul asked for help with the survey, and Steve volunteered. Paul noted that he was pleased that Wayne communicated the inquiries via the building inspector to EDC. Steve suggested contacting Jim O' Connell (CCC) re: the pre-permitting process, and Ted stated that the Commission is already working on "fast-tracking. " Sid noted that the CCC is the first step in the process, and they set the conditions ( i .e. requiring a traffic light, etc. , for pre--permitting) . Steve noted re: research and marketing Southport, Mashpee needs a hotel in town. Sid stated that RTC owns it, it is in bankrupcy court, and he can try to find out more information. Paul suggested contacting CCS and using the Internet to retrieve/broadcast information. Steve will talk to CCS.
