Mr. Fudala stated Mt. Auburn needs to be made aware of this. <br /> Sid stated EDC needs until August lst to get back their survey. <br /> Paul volunteered to call Mt. Auburn and work this out; Paul <br /> will call Sid and update him. <br /> Wayne gave his Coordinator' s Report by distributing May and <br /> June Statements and a letter re: Mashpee ' s application for EOA <br /> designation. Wayne anticipates this designation will be <br /> announced on July 14, 1995 . <br /> Paul distributed copies of a Newsweek article re: development <br /> of neighborhoods . <br /> Sid asked for a vote to have EDC serve on a Committee forming <br /> to study zoning on Field ' s Point Ltd. Partnership Property. <br /> They are thinking about rezoning it for mixed use. A motion <br /> was made, seconded, and unanimously voted in favor of EDC serving <br /> on the Committee to study Field' s Point Ltd. Parnership Property. <br /> Sid reported that there has been a delay on the leasing of the <br /> Cole ' s Directory; Wayne will follow this up with Bab Whritenour. <br /> Paul stated that after expenditures in June, the EDC account <br /> will have a $1 , 700 balance (minus the Cole Directory) . Sid <br /> suggested purchasing directional signs ( i .e. Library, Town <br /> Offices ) and placing them in high traffic areas. Greg Taylor <br /> and Bill Hauck could help coordinate this , and Mr. Pollock, <br /> the sign painter, could install . A motion was made, seconded, <br /> and unanimously voted to allocate $1 ,200 for directional signs <br /> to be placed in various locations. Sid recommended talking <br /> to Bob Whritenour, get the design completed, pass it through <br /> the Sign Committee for approval, and ,then to the Board of <br /> Selectmen. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9: 15 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Mary Alsthorp� <br /> -3- <br />
