ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MINUTES <br /> MAY 13, 1997 <br /> Paul Reynolds , Chairman, called the meeting to order at <br /> 7 : 10 p.m. in Conference Room 2 at Mashpee Town Hall . <br /> Me,abers present: Paul Reynolds , Steve Kyros <br /> Alternates present: Cynthia Green, Sharon Koblinsky, <br /> Steve Innis <br /> Also present: Wayne Duchemin, EDC Coordinator <br /> MINUTES <br /> The Minutes of March 25 , 1997 were moved by Steve I. , seconded <br /> by Cynthia G. Unanimous. <br /> MEMBERSHIP DISCUSSION <br /> Paul R. and Steve I. do not plan to renew their EDC membership <br /> in July. Sharon K. , Steve K. , Cynthia G. and Ted L. will be <br /> alternates. <br /> Steve I. will recruit Steve D'Alenzo (CPA) to replace him. <br /> Paul R. spoke with Anne McDonald Daley, and he will ask Pat <br /> Pry to join. <br /> Wayne D. will recruit Diane Mulvey and Jack Hart. He will <br /> contact Chuck Green who could add a good balance with his <br /> environmental concerns. <br /> Wayne D. recommended a transition Movement in order to nurture <br /> the new members coming on board. <br /> Sharon K. recommended moving economic development into a full- <br /> time program. Town Meeting' supported economic development. <br /> Paul R. stated that if we lobby- the Selectsilen, we may become <br /> a full-time program. <br /> Paul' R. will write a letter to the Editor of the Mashpee <br /> Enterprise re: EDC tembership. <br /> Paul R. stated we are still seeking a Mashpee volunteer to clip <br /> newspaper articles pertaining to economic development in exchange <br /> for a $500 tax rebate. Jim Lone is in charge of this program. <br /> Wayne' D. is seeking office coverage two days per week from <br /> 12 : 00 ti.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. ( 6 hours ) , which will help us transition <br /> into a full-time program. <br />
