TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> February 4 , 1993 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7: 00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Stephen J. Greelish, Steven R. Ball and <br /> John T. Doherty <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT -IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Stephen J. Greelish, Chairman <br /> A <br /> 1 . ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2 . ) Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of January 14 , <br /> 1993 , Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of January 21 , <br /> 1993 , Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of January 28, <br /> 1993 , Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> 3. ) Three bids for ,electric service at recycling_ center - <br /> Mr. Greelish commented, estimates indicate only one subpanel <br /> will be installed. <br /> Mr. Doherty relayed he would contact each company and <br /> request they resubmit estimates to include an additional <br /> panel. <br /> 4 . ) Memo from Exec. Sec. re: Town Counsel services - Mr. <br /> McQuaid relayed, "Town Counsel conducts all business via <br /> telephone which, in my opinion, is very impersonal . <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Mr. Greelish directed Mr. McQuaid to respond to the memo <br /> stating this Board has discussed services currently provided <br /> by Town Counsel and are of the opinion we are at a disadvan- <br /> tage, operating at a distance via phone. "This Board be- <br /> lieves it is in the town's best interests that in the future <br /> Town Counsel consult with and review litigations in person <br /> with the parties directly involved.
