• MINUTES April 22 , 1993 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands Engineering - 31 Starboard Lane <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky, representing the firm of Cape & Is- <br /> lands Engineering was in attendance for this scheduled ap- <br /> pointment. There were no abutters in attendance. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Due to the State variances re- <br /> quested the Board voted to hold a public hearing with notifi- <br /> cation to all abutters. " <br /> Mr. Slavinsky stated, "This is an existing two level , <br /> four bedroom house with a cesspool. " "No additions are pro- <br /> posed for the dwelling. " "The owner is requesting to upgrade <br /> the system as he intends to sell the property and would like <br /> to conform to Title V requirements. " <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to grant two 5' State sideline vari- <br /> ances, the installation of galley's and a 5' variance from <br /> the foundation as the Board recognizes the inlet pipe is well <br /> below the foundation, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> A.P.C.C. 's Wa uoit Bay "No Discharge Zone" proposal <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to forward a letter of support for the <br /> Waquoit Bay No Discharge Zone proposal, Mr. Doherty seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br /> Being no further business Mr. Ball motioned to adjourn this <br /> meeting at 7: 45 p.m. , Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Veronica Warden, Adm.
