TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> May 13 , 1993 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball and John T. Doherty <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Acting Chairman <br /> 1. ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2. ) Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of May 6, 1993 , <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> " APPOINTMENT: Eugene •MacDonald - Commercial Sticker <br /> Mr. MacDonald was in attendance for this scheduled ap- <br /> pointment. F <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Mr. MacDonald is requesting a com- <br /> mercial permit to dispose of household trash and various con- <br /> struction materials. ' "He will utilize his business pickup <br /> truck for disposal of these materials. " Mr. McQuaid informed <br /> Mr. MacDonald he must obtain► a residential landfill sticker <br /> to dispose of household trash and commented "With that under- <br /> standing I would recommend Board members approve the commer- <br /> cial sticker request" . <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to grant a 1993 commercial sticker <br /> to Mr. Eugene MacDonald, Mr. Ball seconded. <br /> 3 . ) Response from Sea Mist Resort re: Water Supply - Mr. <br /> McQuaid stated, "Sea Mist is researching the option of town <br /> water service however, their primary obstacle is of a finan- <br /> cial nature as the Water District is charging a $500.00 fee <br /> to service each unit. " "I would recommend forwarding a copy <br /> of the letter to the Water District and request they provide <br /> a letter of explanation and comment to this Board. " <br /> Mr. Doherty directed Mr. McQuaid to also request the Wa- <br /> ter District provide a copy of their policy regarding condo- <br /> miniums. <br /> 4 . ) Copy- of letter from A.P.C.C. re: "Flat Pond" - Mr. <br /> McQuaid stated, "This letter supports the Board of Health's <br /> and the Conservation Commission's theory that the "Flat Pond" <br /> subdivision will be detrimental to the Great Flat Pond.
