TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> June 3 , 1993 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7 :00 p.m. <br /> Members present: John T. Doherty, Steven R. Ball and Stephen <br /> J. Greelish <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1. ) Warrants signed <br /> 2 . ) Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of May 27, 1993 , <br /> Mr. Greelish seconded, all agreed. ._ <br /> 3 . ) Memo from Finance Commission re: Liaison - Mr. $McQuaid <br /> reminded Board members of the discrepancy in the F.Y. 194 <br /> salary account. Mr. McQuaid stated, "Selectmen Costa has <br /> agreed to consult with the Finance Committee on our behalf. " <br /> 4 . ) Variance re uest - 33 Bluff Avenue - Mr. McQuaid re- <br /> layed, "This is a preapproved lot. " "The owner is requesting <br /> a local variance from abutting well, (#32) , to the proposed <br /> leaching facility and a 10' local variance from abutting <br /> well, (#28) , to the proposed leaching facility. " <br /> Mr. Greelish stated, "Due to the ground saturation in <br /> the area and the variances requested I would recommend a pub- <br /> lic hearing; it would also afford us the opportunity to ex- <br /> press to the residents in the area the importance of public <br /> water service. " <br /> Board members agreed to call a public hearing on the <br /> variance requests. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Doug Storrs -- North Market Street <br /> Mr. Doug Storrs was in attendance for this scheduled ap- <br /> pointment. <br /> Mr. Storrs presented site plans to Board members which <br /> delineates the new "Stop & Shop" complex. Mr. Storrs stated, <br /> "This plan has been presented to the Cape Cod Commission and <br /> D.E.P. . " "The total proposal represents 93 ,300 square feet <br /> of which 61 ,000 represents Stop & Shop. " "The remaining uses <br /> will be retail with the exception of a 2 ,500 square foot <br /> bank. " "It is identical to the Yarmouth Stop & Shop. " "All <br />
