Y � <br /> TOWN OF 14ASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> June 10, 1993 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7 :00 p.m. <br /> Members present: John T. Doherty, Steven R. Ball and Stephen <br /> J. Greelish <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1. ) Warrants signed <br /> 2. ) Mr. Greelish motioned to accept the minutes of June 3 , <br /> 1993 , Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Licensed Septage Haulers <br /> All licensed septage haulers were requested to attend <br /> tonight's meeting however, there were no representatives in <br /> attendance. <br /> Mr. Greelish recommended the Board amend the current <br /> septage regulation in that all pumper's will be required to <br /> dispose of septage temporarily at the Barnstable treatment <br /> plant, the remaining regulations will stay in effect. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned, pending written notification from <br /> the Attorney General's office, to advise all licensed septage <br /> hauler's that the Mashpee septage lagoons are hereby closed <br /> and as a condition of their license they are directed to haul <br /> all septage to the Barnstable Wastewater Plant, Mr. Ball sec- <br /> onded, all agreed. <br /> 3 . ) Copy of letter from Town Counsel to D.E.P. re: Cost Re- <br /> covery Request - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Weston & Sampson and <br /> Town Counsel prepared letters to D.E.P. questioning the re- <br /> quest for payment of Response Action Costs. " <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 4 . ) Landfill Closure Contract - Board members forwarded <br /> their signatures to the Phase II Hydrogeological Contract, <br /> (the contract retains Weston & Sampson as engineers for the <br /> project) . <br />
