TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> June 17 , 1993 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7 : 00 p.m. <br /> Members present: John T. Doherty, Steven R. Ball and Stephen <br /> J. Greelish <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1 . ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2. ) Mr. Greelish motioned to accept the minutes of June 10, <br /> 1993, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> 3. ) Response from Mr. Francoeur re: Septic repair - Mr. <br /> Doherty directed the Agent to forward a letter to Mr. <br /> Francoeur stating this Board will extend a response to this <br /> matter for 30 days. " "A telephone call should suffice. " <br /> 4 . ) Proposed rabies polite - Mr. Evans relayed, "The Animal <br /> Inspector is requesting the Board's comments on the policy. " <br /> "I did review the policy and found it to be adequate." <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 5. ) Selectmen liaison -- Acknowledged. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands - 33 Bluff Avenue <br /> i <br /> i <br /> Mr. John Salvinsky, representing the engineering firm of <br /> Cape & Islands was in attendance. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky presented certified mail receipts to the <br /> Board and relayed, "The owner is requesting a 44' local vari- <br /> ance from abutting well, (#32 Uncle Percy's Road) , to the <br /> proposed leaching facility and a 10' local variance from <br /> abutting well, (#28 Uncle Percy's Road) , to the proposed <br /> leaching facility. " "The abutter at #32 Uncle Percy's is <br /> tied into public water however, is utilizing their well for <br /> irrigation purposes. " <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant the variances as stated <br /> with the stipulation a health agent verify that the owners of <br /> house #32 Bluff Avenue are tied in to public water, Mr. Ball <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br />
