Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1. ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2 . ) Mr. Greelish motioned to accept the Executive Session <br /> minutes of June 10, 1993 , Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of June 17, <br /> 1993 , Mr. Greelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> Unscheduled Appointment: Edward Pesce - 11 Alma Road <br /> Mr. Pesce was in attendance to discuss a septic repair . <br /> at said address. <br /> Mr. Pesce relayed, "The leaching facility has failed <br /> however, a health agent has not certified the system in fail- <br /> ure." "This is a small lot in Popponesset. " "Lot 170 has <br /> presently filed .for town water hookup. " "In order to repair <br /> and upgrade the system State variances are necessitated." <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The Water District did verify the <br /> owners of lot 170 have made application for public water ser- <br /> vice." <br /> Mr. Pesce relayed, "Lot 171 has town water hookup in <br /> their basement however, they do not utilize it. " "Lot 168 <br /> has an active well. " <br /> Mr. Greelish stated, "Considering the active wells in <br /> the area I would recommend a health agent certify the system <br /> in failure. " <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant State and local variances <br /> as requested with the stipulation a health agent certify the <br /> system is in failure, the owner sign the affidavit which pro- <br /> hibits an increase in habitable space, an agent of this Board <br /> forward a letter to the owner of lot 170 stating this Board <br /> understands their intention is to tie-in to public water ser- <br /> vice at the time of the Marchello installation, a letter to <br />
