MINUTES July 22, 1993 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "If a contractor had an occasional <br /> job in town we would not require that builder or contractor <br /> to purchase a commercial sticker however, if they were found <br /> to be utilizing the landfill on a fairly regular basis than <br /> the Board's policy was to require they purchase a commercial <br /> sticker. " <br /> Ms. Labute relayed, "My son is not a contractor. " <br /> Mr. Greelish relayed, "As long as we have assurances Mr. <br /> Labute will dispose of his residential refuse only, then I do <br /> not have a problem with it. " <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant a Transfer <br /> Station/Landfill residential sticker to Mr. Michael Labute <br /> for his one ton dump truck with the stipulation should he <br /> wish to dispose of commercial debris he must first obtain a <br /> commercial sticker, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Jeff Dolinsky - "Davy's Locker" <br /> Mr. . Jeff Dolinsky and Attorney Pamela Dagenais were in <br /> attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "We have a summer intern, Jonathan <br /> Miller, from the County who provides assistance during the <br /> summer months in inspecting pool and food establishments. " <br /> "On June 24, 1993 I requested Mr. Miller to inspect six res- <br /> taurants, one of them being "Davy's Locker" . " "Mr. Miller <br /> inspected Davy's Locker at approximately 3:00 p.m. and found <br /> some significant violations that he felt warranted calling me <br /> to decide what course of action should be taken. " "In par- <br /> ticular, the violations had to do with temperature control in <br /> their refrigeration units. " "Mr. Miller informed me on the <br /> phone that if I could not meet with him at the site then he <br /> would require them to immediately discard any potentially <br /> hazardous foods." "As the food establishment was in close <br /> proximity to this office I informed him I would be right <br /> there. " "I arrived at the facility and walked into the <br /> lounge area where I met Mr. Miller. " "I requested Mr. Miller <br /> direct me to the manager on duty. " "Mr. Miller pointed to <br /> two people. " "I approached the closest individual to me and <br /> requested to speak with her. " "I then informed her I had <br /> significant concern, based on Mr. Miller's inspection, about <br /> the temperature in the walk-in refrigeration unit. " . "I pro-` <br /> seeded to inform her of the temperature requirements after <br /> which we checked the temperatures in the walk-in unit. " <br /> "Some foods were well above' 45 degrees and found to - be as <br /> high as 58 degrees. " - "We tested potentially hazardous foods, <br /> some of which were above 45 degrees some were below 45 de- <br /> grees.
