Greelish <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> i . ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2. ) Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of September 9, <br /> 1993 , Mr. Greelish seconded, all agreed. <br /> 8 . ) Building Permit application: 71 Seconsett Island Rd. - <br /> Mr. Harry Miller, contractor for the project, was in atten- <br /> dance. <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, '"The leaching facility on this lot <br /> was deemed in failure and an emergency repair was authorized <br /> by this Board. " "The upgrade was engineered and designed to <br /> accommodate a four bedroom house. " <br /> Mr. Miller relayed, "Originally there were two cottages <br /> on the lot. " "One burned down, the other we are proposing to <br /> demolish. " <br /> Mr. Evans relayed, "The owner and abutting lots are not <br /> tied into public water. " <br /> Mr. Greelish commented, "This is not a Title V system. " <br /> Mr. Doherty explained to Mr. Miller, "In order to expand <br /> or construct a new dwelling a Title V system is required. " <br /> "Variance relief from State and local regulations are <br /> necessitated for the installation of a Title V system. " "I <br /> would recommend the owners question the abutters as to <br /> whether they intend to tie in to public water. " <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Mr. Miller the Board of Health <br /> will withhold sign-off on the building permit until all abut- <br /> ters, within 100' of the proposed Title V system are serviced <br /> by town water. " <br /> Mr. Doherty commented, "The engineer did not delineate <br /> those lots located within 150' of the leaching facility. " <br />
