MINUTES September 30, 1993 2 BOARD OF HEALTH 6. ) Correspondence from the Pond Task _Force -- Acknowledged. 7. ) Willowbend treatment plant construction application - Mr. Greelish stated, "I would recommend we request Weston & Sampson's comment on the design and request they attend an upcoming meeting to explain the plant and how it works. " Agreed. 8. ) Variance request, 15 Wessa usset Avenue - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "The owner is requesting a 26' local variance from the on-site leaching facility to abutting well, (#22 Wessagusset) , a 31' local variance from abutting .well , (#15 Annawon) , to the on-site leaching facility, a 15' local vari- ance from abutting well , (#198 Algonquin) , to the proposed on-site leaching facility and a 44' local variance from abut- ting well , (#192 Algonquin) , to the proposed on-site leaching facility. " Mr. Greelish motioned to grant the variances as stated by Mr. McQuaid, Mr. Ball seconded. 9 . ) Emergency repair certification ___Mr.-- -Mr—Evans -relayed, - III - inspected, the- site and- found the cesspool overflowing into the house. " "I authorized immediate repair. " "All lots in the area are serviced by town water. " Board members forwarded their signatures to the "Emer- gency Repair Certification" form. *****NEW BUSINESS***** Letter from Joan Stetson requesting waiver of commercial sticker fee Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Ms. Stetson, on behalf of the Good Neighbor Fund, has made application for a commercial sticker and is requesting the Board waive the fee as it is a non- profit organization. " "Ms. Stetson intends to dispose of cardboard boxes, old clothing and empty food containers. " Mr. Greelish motioned to grant a 1993 commercial sticker to Ms. Stetson, on behalf of the Good Neighbor Fund, and to waive the fee requirement with the stipulation the sticker is affixed to one vehicle which shall be utilized by the Good Neighbor Fund volunteers for entrance into the Transfer Station/Landfill, Mr. Ball seconded. **********
