TOWN OF+ MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> January 13 , 1994 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: John T. Doherty, Steven R. Ball and Stephen <br /> J. Greelish <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1 . ) Warrants signed <br /> 2 . ) Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of December 16 , <br /> 1993 , Mr. Doherty seconded. <br /> Board members agreed to withhold accepting the minutes <br /> of January 6 , 1994 until the next regularly scheduled meeting <br /> date. <br /> 3 . ) Letter from Mrs. Saunders re: 71 Forest Drive - Mr. <br /> McQuaid relayed, "Mrs. Saunders is requesting this matter be <br /> continued until next week as she is unable to attend <br /> tonight's meeting. " <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> 4 . ) Letter from Attorney Mills re: 97 Shore Drive - Mr. <br /> McQuaid relayed, "Attorney Mills is requesting the Board ren- <br /> der a decision this evening. " <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to deny the requested variance relief <br /> based on the Title V regulation which requires 4' of <br /> naturally occurring permeable soil between the bottom of the <br /> leaching facility and groundwater, Mr. Greelish seconded, all <br /> agreed. <br /> 5. ) Appropriation request from C.C. Human Services - Mr. <br /> McQuaid relayed, "The human service contracts have been level <br /> funded since fiscal year 1992 . " "The V.N.A. has agreed to <br /> level funding again this year. " "Cape Cod Human Services is <br /> requesting an increase of approximately $3 ,350 . 00. " <br /> Mr. Greelish commented, "The V.N.A. is more of a posi- <br /> tion to request an increase. " <br />
