MINUTES January 27 , 1994 4 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. Halpern stated, "My payment to the Water District was prior to when you came to the Board and asked the Board to waive the fee for the six houses." Mr. Greelish stated, "Our conversations over the phone were within a few hours of the deadline and you relayed that you didn't have the funds available. " "There was nothing we could do, we had done everything we could - your time was up. " "That was after all of this process. " Mr. Halpern commented, "That was prior to your coming to the Board and asking them. " "To the best of my recollection I spent the money before you came in front of the Water Dis- trict Board. " Mr. Greelish stated, "My recollection was it was after that. " "When did you discontinue the hydrant service?" Mr. Halpern responded, "I do not know. " "I discontinued the hydrant service after I thought everything was hooked-up. " "I paid for the whole years hydrant, if I had to I would have left it hooked-up." Mr. Greelish reiterated his earlier question to Mr. Halpern. Mr. Halpern responded, "If I had to guess when I discon- nected the hydrant service, I would probably say the middle of November. " Mr. Ball commented, "The water meter was put in on January 13 , 1994 . " Mr. Greelish motioned to continue this hearing pending verification of the hose connection, timetable as to exactly when they cut that service off and whether there was any in- teraction with the home owner at the time from the Water Dis- trict, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. I APPOINTMENT: D. Mitrokostas - Smoking Policy Mr. Mitrokostas was unable to attend tonight's meeting to discuss the smoking regulation. Mr. Greelish motioned to forward the smoking regulation to the news media for public comment, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed.
