BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> April 14 , 1994 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: John T. Doherty and Steven R. Ball <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. John T. Doherty, Chairman <br /> 1. ) Warrants signed. <br /> 2. ) Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of April 7 , <br /> 1994, Mr. Doherty seconded. <br /> 3. ) Proposed letter to Mr. McNutt re: Merry Meadows water <br /> suppler - Mr. Doherty questioned whether this Board could en- <br /> force public water hookup as they have an acceptable water <br /> supply. " <br /> Mr. Evans commented, "If the water system is not prop- <br /> erly maintained this Board could enforce water hookup. " <br /> Mr. Doherty directed the Agent to research whether this <br /> Board can enforce public water hookup for commercial busi- <br /> nesses. <br /> 4. ) Memo from Exec. Sec. re: High Sachem Estates - Mr. <br /> Ball relayed, "The Building Department did request the Ex- <br /> ecutive Secretary submit the Selectmen's decision in <br /> writing. " <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 5. ) Memo from Fin Com. re: Pre-town meeting-- meeting - <br /> Mr. Ball relayed, "I plan to attend the meeting. " <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 6. ) Variance request, 138 Nini ret Avenue - Mr. Doherty <br /> commented, "Plans are inadequate as they do not clearly de- <br /> lineate the distances from abutting wells and the proposed <br /> on-site leaching facility. " "The request for variance relief <br /> will be continued for two weeks." <br />
